Is ClearPix really free?
Yes. Because all processing runs in your browser instead of on paid servers, there is no per-image cost to cover. No credits, no subscriptions, no export watermark.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is read by your browser and never leaves your device. The AI model itself is downloaded once and cached locally — after that, the tools even work offline.
Why is the first run slow?
The first time you use a tool, your browser downloads the AI model (29–67 MB) and caches it on your device. Every run after that starts instantly.
Is it legal to remove a watermark?
It depends on your rights to the content. Removing watermarks from your own photos or properly licensed material is generally fine. Removing someone else's watermark to redistribute their work is not. Only process content you own or have permission to modify.
