About ClearPix

What ClearPix is

A free suite of AI image and video tools — watermark removal for images and video, subtitle removal, and 2–4× super-resolution. Every tool runs entirely in your browser: your files are never uploaded, there are no accounts, and exports carry no watermark.

Who builds it

ClearPix is built and maintained by Umasou, an independent developer, under the GitHub account SharksevenRo. Engineering notes from the build are published on dev.to/sharksevenro.

Why everything runs on your device

Because it makes the product better, not just safer. With no servers to process media, there is no server bill to pass on — free is sustainable, not a trial. Privacy is architecture, not a policy: there is no upload step to audit. You can verify every claim yourself in the Trust Center and on the Quality Dashboard, which publishes acceptance metrics with failures included.

Models and licenses

ClearPix ships open-weights models (MI-GAN, LaMa, Real-ESRGAN, YOLO11) compiled to ONNX and executed by ONNX Runtime Web, preferring WebGPU with a WASM fallback. Every model and runtime license, with our commercial-use conclusion, is listed on the Licenses page.
